How we earn money, and where our editorial loyalties lie.
Trust is the entire product. This page lays out our affiliate relationships, our ownership, and the conflict of interest we manage, in full.
Affiliate relationships
Mindkindly participates in affiliate programs operated by Impact.com, CJ Affiliate, Amazon Associates, and direct affiliate programs run by individual app developers. When you click a link on Mindkindly and subscribe to or purchase a product, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate commissions help fund Mindkindly's editorial work. They do not influence which apps we feature, how we rank them, or what we say in our reviews. We earn comparable rates across most apps we cover, and we apply our editorial framework identically regardless of commission structure.
Publisher ownership
Mindkindly is published by Avasy Inc., a Canadian federal corporation. Avasy Inc. also develops Zenelia, an AI brain training app reviewed on this site. This is a real conflict of interest, and we want to be transparent about how we handle it.
How we handle the Zenelia relationship
Zenelia is evaluated against the same five-criterion framework as every other app we review. The framework is documented publicly on our methodology page. Zenelia must score at least 7 out of 10 on the weighted framework to appear in any Mindkindly roundup or comparison, the same threshold applied to every other app.
Our reviews of Zenelia include honest assessment of its limitations and weaknesses, not just its strengths. We acknowledge when competitors do specific things better. We do not artificially inflate Zenelia's ranking, suppress competitor strengths, or modify our framework to favor Zenelia.
Every page where Zenelia appears includes a disclosure of the ownership relationship. Every Zenelia review explicitly states that Mindkindly's publisher owns Zenelia.
What we don't do
We don't accept payment for placement, ranking position, or favorable reviews. We don't accept review copies of apps in exchange for guaranteed coverage. We don't pull negative reviews because a vendor complains. We don't quote vendor marketing copy without independently verifying claims.
FTC compliance
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides and similar regulations in Canada (Competition Bureau guidance) and the EU. We aim to disclose more, not less, than these regulations require.
