Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Mindkindly collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Effective May 2026.
Who we are
Mindkindly ("Mindkindly," "we," "us," or "our") is an editorial website that publishes reviews of brain health, focus, and mental wellness apps. Mindkindly is owned and operated by Aprici Inc., a corporation registered in Canada. You can reach us at hello@mindkindly.com regarding any privacy question.
The short version
We collect very little. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand general site traffic, we use affiliate links that may set cookies through third parties, and we keep emails you send us so we can reply. We do not sell your personal information. We do not run advertising trackers. The detail below explains each of these.
Information we collect
Analytics data
We use analytics software to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. Depending on our current analytics provider, this may include your approximate location (country or region, derived from your IP address but not stored as a full IP), the pages you visit, the site or search engine that referred you, your device type, browser, and operating system, and the date and time of your visit. This data is collected in aggregate and is not used to personally identify you.
Information you provide directly
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you provide it, and the contents of your message. If we add a newsletter in the future, we will collect an email address only when you actively subscribe, and you will be able to unsubscribe at any time.
Cookies and similar technologies
Mindkindly itself aims to use minimal or no tracking cookies. However, when you click an affiliate link and are taken to a third-party website (see "Affiliate links" below), that third party may place cookies on your device under their own privacy policies. We do not control those cookies. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time.
Affiliate links
Mindkindly contains affiliate links. When you click one and make a purchase or sign up for a service, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. To make this work, the affiliate networks and merchants we work with — which may include Impact.com, CJ Affiliate, Amazon Associates, and direct merchant programs — may use cookies or similar technologies to attribute that referral to us. The information those third parties collect is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit through a link on Mindkindly.
How we use information
We use the limited information we collect to operate and improve the site, to understand which content is useful to readers, to respond to messages you send us, to maintain the security and integrity of the site, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances: with service providers who help us operate the site (such as our hosting provider and analytics provider), bound to handle data appropriately; when required by law, such as in response to a valid legal request; and in connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, in which case any successor would be bound by this policy or one materially similar.
Data retention
We keep aggregate analytics data only as long as it is useful for understanding site trends. We keep emails you send us for as long as needed to address your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for reference. You may ask us to delete correspondence by emailing us.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access the information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to data portability. Readers in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR. Readers in California have rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know and the right to delete; note that we do not sell personal information. Readers in Canada have rights under PIPEDA.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@mindkindly.com and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You can also control cookies through your browser and opt out of analytics using browser settings or extensions.
Children's privacy
Mindkindly is intended for an adult, general audience. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect the limited information we hold. The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International visitors
Mindkindly is operated from Canada. If you access the site from elsewhere, be aware that your information may be processed in Canada or in other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your own.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here, and we encourage you to review this page periodically.
